Hotcakes with amaranth and oats

Craving something sweet? Try these delicious, healthy pancakes and indulge guilt-free!



You need:
  • Oatmeal
  • Amaranth
  • Flour
  • Baking powder
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Vanilla
  • Butter (optional)
  • 1 apple

Use the blender cup and blend the oats and amaranth using the special function of your Vital Blender . Mix all the ingredients very well in a bowl. Add a splash of melted butter at the end, if desired. Heat the 18cm skillet from your Deep Frying Pan Set. When it's very hot, pour the mixture over the skillet until it fills the surface. Reduce heat to medium-low and wait approximately 5 minutes for it to brown on one side; you'll know when to flip it by the small bubbles that appear on the surface. Flip the pancake over, reduce heat, and wait for it to cook on the other side. Serve warm, cut some apple slices for garnish, and add honey. Enjoy with a delicious tea or coffee. Enjoy!
