If you love the combination of chiles en nogada, you'll love this free version inspired by the traditional dish!
You need:
Procedure
Add all the ingredients for the nogada sauce to your Vital blender. Make sure the walnuts are peeled so your sauce turns out white and delicious.

Preparing the chile: It's extremely important to roast it thoroughly, without burning it, so you can remove the skin, which can make your dish bitter. After roasting, you can place it in a plastic bag with coarse salt and let it sweat, so the outer skin practically falls off on its own. Then, thoroughly devein it to ensure it's not too spicy. If you find it too spicy, you can wear gloves for this procedure.
For the stew:
Heat your 24 cm Rubi pan and add a little olive oil. Wait until it's fully heated and add the diced onion and garlic. Let them brown slightly and add the meat. Let the mixture cook slightly and add the citron or candied jicama, almonds, raisins, apple, pear, and peach. Simmer for about 10 minutes, until the mixture is smooth, the meat is cooked, and the fruit has softened.

Defrost your New York Deli & Bagel Sesame Bagel and heat it to taste. Make a bed of lettuce on the bottom half of the bagel, add the beef stew, roasted chiles, and drizzle with your walnut sauce. Garnish with the pomegranate to taste.
Dare to try this version and pair it with your favorite beverage. Enjoy your meal!
