3 movies that every cooking lover should see
The theme of gastronomy has been a constant in cinema of all genres and perhaps also of all eras. Here we share three films you shouldn't miss:
1. Julie & Julia

Julie Powell (Amy Adams), determined to do something creative to forget her routine job, sets herself the challenge of preparing all 524 recipes from the book "Mastering the Art of French Cooking," a culinary classic published in 1961 by Julia Child (Meryl Streep). During that year, she writes about her experiences every day in a blog that will have multiple complications. ( FILMAFFINITY )
2. Chocolate

If you like romantic movies and chocolate, you'll love this one! It had five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Music, and Actress. Plus, it stars the attractive Juliette Binoche and a young Johnny Depp—plenty of reasons to make it irresistible, right?
3. Like water for chocolate

This is a Mexican film based on the book of the same name by Mexican writer Laura Esquivel. It is a beautiful journey and tribute to traditional Mexican cuisine, interwoven with a sensual love story. The film won 10 Ariel Awards, is ranked 56th among the 100 best Mexican films, has also been the ninth highest-grossing foreign film in the United States, and was nominated for a Golden Globe.
