Brunch is a word that comes from the combination of "breakfast" and "lunch." It's basically a meal that combines breakfast and lunch. For some, it's a kind of late breakfast, which in these busy times can be a luxury, hence the common notion of eating or having brunch on Sundays or holidays.
Brunch is typically served between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Many well-known hotels and restaurants serve a buffet with sweet and savory dishes, paired with drinks ranging from the classic Americano coffee to a more refreshing beverage, such as orange juice or fruit juice.
Brunch is also, simply put, the ideal meal for those undecided between breakfast and lunch. Brunch menus are typically light, but still full of style.
